Metro 2033

hi friends...
i'm unable to play "metro 2033" on my system.... as i start the game after welcome screen i got my desktop with an error "metro 2033 has stop working".
please help me what is the problem?
my system spec. are

OS Win 7 64bit, C2D E7500 2.93ghz, 4gb ddr2 ram, xfx hd 5830 graphic card, intel DG41RQ mobo, cooler master GX 750 watt PSU.

i know this system is suck. .... but i'm out of budget.... and i have to go with this system atleast for 1 more year

so please tell me from where i can get metroo 2033 competible with win 7 64-bit???
plz help guyz

update graphic card driver, and make sure you have the latest directx installed.

And that the game is patched if there are any patches.

im pretty sure its your cpu thats limiting you. i think metro uses up to 4 cores. you gpu seems ok.

Your cpu can handle that game. Try patching up the game.

i alreadly have dx 9, 10 and 11 in my pC..
i have played
crysis warhead, crysis 2, COD modren warfare 2, COD: Black oOpsS, far Cry 2, Devil may cry 4, (Assassin's creed 1,2 and brother hood at 1920x1080p) at 1600x1200 ,all max settings
GPU driver is als0 fine..

See if the game has a built-in "check for updates" link OR go to the game website OR use Google. Either of these should answer your question.

I agree with Skaz, re-installing your GPU driver should fix the problem... fixed my exact same problem

finally i have found metro 2033 working with win 7 64-bit...
