Sims 2 help!

Hello,
i have borrowed sims 2 off my partner and it just will not install it just gets stuck on 2% i have 4 disks and i have no idea when to put number 2.3.4 in. can anybody help me please.

I think the disk has lots of scratch and it is likely damage I guess
