On the A7m266, when the CPU core voltage (VID1-4) is set at default, what is the proper votage reading. Does anybody change this to anything other than default? If so , why? The reason I'm asking is that i've been have problems running my fsb at 133. It locks up my system. If I run fsb at 130 everything works fine.

I DON'T KNOW IF THE ASUS HAS A JUMPER FOR FSB (100 OR 133).YOU CAN TRY INCREASING YOUR VOLTAGE TO THE MAX OF 1.85. I HAVE HEARD THAT THE BOXED VERSIONS OF ATHLON ARE MORE STABLE FOR OVERCLOCKING. I PERSONALLY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO OVERCLOCK ANY OEM ATHLONS BY RAISING THE VOLTAGE, BUT IF YOUR L1 BRIDGES ARE UNLOCKED, YOU MAY HAVE BETTER LUCK WITH YOUR MOTHERBOARD.

The default voltage is 1.75V. Your cpu should run at this voltage and at 133MHz fsb.
I have a 1.2GHz Athlon C on an A7M266 that runs reliably at 133MHz at the default voltage
