WinXP SP2

"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close."

If I open Windows Explorer or My Computer and right-click on a drive letter and go to properties I get the above message. If I double-click on the drive letter to open
the folder and then right-click and select properties in the right pane it works fine. Any Ideas

For it is not what is seen, but what is not seen. :eek:

Do you have some king and disk doctor or disk check to check out the file structure? Also run some kind of anti-spyware like spybot.

I had this problem after I installed a version of Internet Explorer. Try upgrading your IE to the newest version.
