I am a fanatic of video games and i would like to know if ATI Radeon 9800pro is better than ATI Radeon mobility 4200?

Currently i have an hp laptop with ATI Radeon mobility 4200 and one of the requirments to play call of duty 4 is at least ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro and the recommended is ATI Radeon X1800.

The other requirements (ram, procesor etc.) pass.

If anybody could help i would appreciated!

4200 doesnt meet minimum requirements but the 9800 pro will just.

as for being a fanatic... sorry thats just laughable .. for a start laptops in general aint made to play games and yours defiantly isnt. i know that makes me sound like a jerk but saying your fanatical when you dont have the kit to actually play games is a bit of an overstatement aint it...

better stick to phrases like enthusiastic beginner, or keen amateur.
if you want to play pc games than look to spend $500 or £350 on an entry level destop as a bare minimum. if you want enthusiast gaming then your looking at £800 or $1200 to get a very good max settings kind of setup.

If you want to play games on a laptop, you need to buy a new laptop, can't upgrade what you have.
