Wow... for the first time a SiS chipset is actually a good performer. I heard good things about the 735 before it was released- turned out to be true.

Well, from the two articles I've read on it, it sounds pretty promising. I like the fact that it is all integrated into one chip versus two. It's performance looks to be on par with most of the other chipsets (although I don't know why they didn't include the AMD760 in this test - maybe because it's hard for most people to come by).
Now, if it ends up being a pretty stable chipset that doesn't require a lot of tweaking to get it to function, then AMD might just have the platform they've been waiting for...

In one of the reviews (don't remember where), SiS 735 was compared against one of the AMD760 mobos. It was on par with it. The review that I gave link to compares it to a new, and very good, KT266 mobo, Gigabyte 7VDX which is edging out AMD760 in a review at socketa.com
