Halo 2

hi, guys
i have recently bought halo 2 but it seems to lag quite badly. i don't think it is the computer (GTX560ti/P67/i3-2100/windows 7) does anyone else experience this problem?

Are you having the lag online or offline or both?

could be your gfx card is to much for the cpu with this game. because the game isnt demanding the gpu is throwing to many fps back at the cpu, the cpu then tells the gpu to hold on while it catches up. the end result is game lag.
a way to test this is to drop the settings to minimum and if your fps doesnt go up you have hit a cpu bottleneck with the game...
with newer more demanding games you shouldn't have this problem.

sorry that i couldn't get back sooner, i am having issues offline and online and i have tried changing the settings, getting around 350fps and lowering the settings doesn't increase the frame rate. so HEXit are you saying that i can't play halo because it too old?
