ok... i finally got my systems working without any problems. 4 aopen and 2 ecs boards... 3 months... bla bla... anyway, is it possible to make a restore disk so i can save these settings? i dont ever want to go through this again. i have ghost but when i am not very familiar with imaging and when i go from disk to image i get message saying there isnt enough space... i dunno.... if anyone has any ideas, that would be great.
Ghost is your best shot. Before trying to use it though you should format the drive that you are trying to copy it on .In other words make at least two partitions on your disk.C&D. install on C and Ghost on D.When you want to reinstall, Format drive C .Which wipes out everything(kinda)and then Ghost your image back on C drive.
hmmm.... i see what you're sayin, id really like to be able to put it on a cd though. is that even possible? would i even be able to restore from that or would it have to be a bootable cd? which is probably another issue unto itself...
I use Drive Image, too. The current version 4.0 allows to burn to a CDR/CDRW. And yeah, when you restore an image from a backup, it formats the whole partition for you automatically.
OC...unless your computer's cheezy (is that a good rhyme?)
