Hello,
I have just built my new gaming rig and was wondering if i will be able to run crysis with all settings on very high at a smooth frame rate

Heres my specs
OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
CPU Intel® Core™ i7 2720QM 2.2GHz (3.3GHz w/Turbo Boost, 6MB Cache)
RAM 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
GPU 3GB DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M
HD 500GB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s
Thanks

That's a pretty powerful computer, but I'd still doubt that it could run Crysis on max. I don't think there's much out there that could do that. It also depends heavily on what resolution you're wanting to play at.

But I'd say you'd easily be able to get High settings.

I would probably be playing on a 1600x900 resolution and high settings still look amazing so thanks for the info

550m? did you build that or buy a laptop? It wont run crysis on very high, most likely high, but vrysis tends to make even badass systems jump around a bit.

Yeah, it will run crysis on high, but very high would be choppy. Don't be discouraged ; it will run most games very well

High might be a little doubtful. In the extra-fancy-looking scenes, with clouds of particles flying around, my 460 1gb drops to 35 fps on high, though it manages above 60 in most cases.
