Converting DVD to AVI

I am looking at putting movies on my PC and was wondering if there is a single program that converts just the movie from an DVD Format to an AVI I want the size of the finished product to be around 700MB.

I use <A HREF="http://www.dvddecrypter.com/" target="_new">DVD DeCrypter</A> to rip the disc in combination with an <A HREF="http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html" target="_new">AnyDVD</A> driver to remove encryption, and then create the .avi with <A HREF="http://www.divx-digest.com/software/autogk.html" target="_new">AutoGordianKnot</A>.
