I have 512Mb of pc133 ram in this board at present. I tryed to install another 512Mb of PC133 into the same board. I followed what the manual said about using the same brand and single sided RAM. The RAM registers in the POST but Win98SE will not get through it's initial boot and this then sets up a loop. If I remove one stick of RAM, then win98SE gets a little bit further into it's boot but then hangs or crashes. Any help would be great

The problem may not be your board or memory. The problem is most likely Windows 98. 95, 98, and ME cannot manage memory above 512 MB. They were never designed to handle it.
