quake 3 and dual proc

for all you quake-heads out there: i know the quake 3 engine supports dual processors (and i understand how to run a dual proc machine). what i dont know is if (in your opinion or if you've come accross some article, etc) games which use the wuake 3 engine will, or could, support the same dual processor machine? since this engine is apparently going to be used in a large number of upcoming games this would mean dual proc machines could have a real impact on gamers (like me)in the future.......any thoughts from my fellow tech-heads?
