ok, so I have
Intel Core 2 Duo E6420@2.13 ghz
ATI RadeonHD5450 1GB
4GB ram

My Ram and videocard can run CoD Blackops..but my processor cannot
Black Ops requires Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 which is 2.40ghz of cpu clock speed. Mine is only 2.13ghz.

What will happen if I install CoD? Will it work? If so, will it damage my computer?

It most likely wont work at all if it doesnt meet the minimum requirements. Either that or it will work and it will just crash. If its the "recommended requirements" your not meeting, but it does meet the "minimum requirements" it will work, but the gameplay will be really low FPS and probably fairly unplayable.

In short - if you dont meet the minimum requirements - i wouldnt even bother.

Agree with the above, best case scenario when running a game on a system below minimum requirements is that the game will run, but you will get unacceptably low framerates, even on the lowest graphical settings. Unless you are able to overclock your CPU up to 2.4 GHz, don't bother trying to run Black Ops.

yeah all of the above can happen

or if you set all the settings low and set the game to a low resolution you can get it to play just fine, it'll just be very small image.
