I would rather upgrade the BIOS of my current ASUS A7V Motherboard to support my new AMD AXIA Athlon 1.33 266 FSB CPU, and in a few months purchase the ASUS A7266N NVidia Motherboard that suppose to blow way the ASUS A7A266 and the ASUS A7M266 Motherboards.

I know that I need to replace by 256 MB of PC-100 RAM with 256 MB of PC-133 RAM.

I’m in the same boat. But I doubt the A7V will ever support a 266 MHZ frontside bus.

I’m just going to stick with my 1 gig for another year or 2 then see what’s out there. By that time some really great chipsets will be out and Athlons might be hitting +2 gigs. Who know even the P4 might me kicking some a$$ by then.

My suggestion is to save you nickels and wait a 6 months to a year.

Thx & Cya
