I finally got my A7M yesterday, but when I was reading through the user's manual I came to the list of qualified DDR DIMM vendors. I noticed that the only Micron's listed are the 64mb and the 128mb. Samsung has both 128mb and the 256mb listed. Does anyone know why Asus didn't list Micron's 256mb as a qualified DDR DIMM? Doesn't make much sense to me. If anyone has any thouoghts I would love to hear them. Thanks!

Probably because they forgot, didn't want to, or just didn't test 256meg micron DIMMs... They'll work. I've got the first DDR chipset from IWills first DDR mobo and my 256meg DDR DIMM works fine.

Rule of thumb: Anything in print by Asus is already outdated.

They never print anything anywhere on time. They release motherboards without reflecting that on their website. It's very frustrating.
