More Information

Hi all,
My trusty Dell Inspiron gave up the ghost so I am forced to look for a new laptop a bit earlier than planned.
Anyway I found the Averatec 4200 P-M Centrino @1.6Ghz, 512Mb ddr333ram, DVD burner, 13.3" wide screen, 802.11b/g, 80Gb HD, 4-in-1 media card reader etc for about $1100 US. And it looke preaty good and steardy.
I never heard of them any thoughts?
Thanks

Beam me up Scotty.

I've never heard of averatec either. I'd definatly check one out at a retail store before buying one.
The case looks extremely similar to a gateway case...
