My Asus P55T2P4 430HX motherboard is different from the ones shown in the oldie tuning. The core voltage jumpers are different (*see Prerequisites for Using the AMD K6-2+) above the 2.9 jumper there is no 3.2 but a RES jumper and no extra jumper under the 2.5 jumper. can this board still be used to run the AMD K6+2/500 CPU and what are the jumper settings

If it can support 2.5v, you can use a 2.2v or higher processor with good cooling. I hear the K6-2+ was available with several core voltages. At any rate I would check to see what core voltage you are getting-2.2v or above will not require a voltage converter, and the 2x=6x trick works with any standard motherboard.
