Perhaps there still exist some Omnibook 300 users in the world? Not
long ago I received one, but without a manual. I understand that it
can operate/boot from ROM, but I am not sure how to configure it such
that it remains in this configuration. I think perhaps there is a
hardware password enabled which prevents me from accomplishing that.

Can anyone help me with removing the hardware password?

Ideally I'd like this OB300 to behave similar to an HP 200LX as I'm a
200LX fan. Is this best accomplished through the Connectivity Pack
software which I have? As a sidenote I've also thought the same for
the Toshiba Libretto 50CT I have if I could swap the HD out for a CF
card.

Are there sources for the manual or even new/refurb battery packs? I
couldn't get NIMH batteries to be recognized.
