Sniper elite is running slow on my pc

i facing an issue with sniper elite.it runs slow on my pc from starting point (mean menu).my system informations are underway as
RAM: 512
processor: 1.7 Ghz
VIDEO CARD: 64
How can i fix the afore said problem ........i wanna help .......can somebody help me please ???

CPU: 1GHz
RAM : 256MB
HDD : 4GB
Video : 32MB Geforce 2 or equivalent
Sound : DX8 Compatible
Now your system may exceed this, but when you take into account the load the o/s and other apps place on your system, 512MB ram is probably just too little.
Also a P4-1.7? is an ancient processor.
