Bios Backup?

I've been reading up on how to flash my BIOS, and various sources have told me to save my old one. Where can i even find my old BIOS file? I don't even know where to start looking. I have a KT7A abit mobo with a 1.3Ghz proc.

The Award BIOS flash utility will give you 2 options
when you enter the flash program.
1 Save current BIOS
2 Flash new BIOS
This is how all the ASUS boards with Award BIOS work
but it should be the same.

Rock out with your AMD out

It depends on what name you call your old BIOS. It can be found in the same folder your new BIOS is located. I call my old BIOS...OLDBIOS.BIN. All BIOS updates install BIOS titled folders after their uncompression. It is there that any saved BIOS will be found.
