I've been all over the net trying to find out when a good mobo for SiS's 735 chipset is gonna come out and I haven't been able to find out anything. Wondering if anyone knows..I'd like to know when ASUS's is debuting given their good AMD history

The market is suspiciously silent about SiS735 based mobos. The only hint I've got was the photo of Abit's roadmap taken by Anandtech.com at Computex. It showed both NV7-RAID (nForce) and KS7-RAID (based on SiS735) some time around August.

Here is the link I mentioned. It was actually not from their Computex report, but from a less known expo just a few days before that.

I just thought I'd mention regarding this situation. VIA I read somewhere is supposedly offering to help mobo manufacturers improve KT266 performance on their boards in exchange for the mobo manufac's not having a SiS 735 mobo on their product line. Now big guys (Asus, MSI namely) will definatly have SiS 735 solutions, but about smaller ones like Iwill, AOpen, ECS and others we'll have to see. Just thought to mention this.
