I have found an old mainboard , SL586vt-II, which is produced by FKI. But FKI currently is only producing computer chasis and I`m unable to find an bios update or an jumper settings map. And, finnaly; am I going to be able to put an K6-2 on this mainboard ?
Thanx

Why not save yourself a lot of hassle and buy a nice cheap, ASUS, EPOX or Abit super 7 M/B.
It will save you a heap of problems.

If it supports dual voltage (P55C or MMX, etc) and 2x multiplier, you can run a K6-2 400 on it. The 400 is normally a 2.2v processor, but can handle up to 2.8v with good cooling-use a large Socket 370/Socket a cooler.
