I am planning to do an Eyefinity setup. I will only have two of the three monitors at the moment. Which video out puts should I use, or does it matter? Should I use both DVI on the first card, or is it better to connect one DVI to the first card and one to the second card?

What about when I still have two monitors? I am questioning out of my two asus 6970s, should I connect all video to the first one? It has 3 hdmi, 1 display port, 2 dvi.

I'm not running eyefinity on two the bezel would be in the way. I guess I am phrazing my question inncorrectly. I have two dvi cords, and two graphics cards, and two monitors. Does it affect performance to have a dvi running from each card vs running both from one card. (In both cases cards are still in crossfire)

If you have 2 cards in crossfire, I don't think it will matter as both cards will be sharing the load. I haven't seen any pro's or cons of running eyefinity on a single card or crossfired.
