I have an Assus A7A266 motherboard. AMD 1.4 Ghz cpu

I am using AssusProb and the Temp for my CPU went from 50C to 100C to 50C. Seems the 100C only lasted one time frame (5 seconds). So was this a glitch on Asus part... seems to me that if my CPU temp really went pass 100C.. that would of been fried my CPU.

Any helpful comments out there?

Use <b><A HREF="http://mbm.livewiredev.com/" target="_new">Motherboard Monitor</A></b>. It's more accurate than <b>Asus Probe</b>.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

I had the exact same problem (posted here about it within the last week)! I have switched to MBM5, and have been happy with it so far. Good luck!
