WHOOT! I managed to sweet talk the people in charge of that student ambassador program I wanted to go with to europe, now I will be able to pay the first 400 dollars! aka I get to go, I just need to be able to make the monthly payments now I am so happy!

There are lots of cheap flights from U.K to Holland. Why not look into one?

You can take the boat to Scheveningen or Hoek van Holland... then you're close to where I live.

Yeah, you can get to the mainland really cheap if you plan a little bit ahead. I think my flight from Copenhagen to London cost $20. You end up at Gatwick or some other remote airport unfortionately, but trains and busses work like a charm.
