So, work is allowing me to purchase a new, Dell laptop on their dime. This is what i'm getting:
Dell Latitude e6420 Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit CPU - Core i7 2720QM @ 2.2ghz Memory - 8GB DDR3 @ 1333mhz GPU - Nvidia NVS 4200m 512MB DDR3 SSD - 128GB (not sure what manufacturer SSD Dell puts in these. I think they are Samsung) Display - 14" 1600x900 max resolution
How would this new rig compare in light gaming (WoW, Starcraft 2, Team Fortress 2) to my current laptop:
Dell XPS m1530 Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit CPU - Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.5ghz Memory - 4gb RAM DDR2 @ 667mhz GPU - Nvidia 8600m GT 256MB DDR3 HDD - 7200rpm Hitachi Travelstar Display - 15" 1280x800 max resolution
I understand the new laptop has a workstation GPU, and isn't ideal for gaming, but it's free so I won't complain, lol.
Notebookcheck.net helped a little, but still wanted to see if anyone had any knowledge, links or experience with the NVS 4200m GPU.
Thanks in advance!

Your current rig would be better for gaming especially considering the difference in resolution and the fact that the NVS 4200m would be weaker for games than your 8600m GT.
^+1 Do you have any other suggestions for a good laptop you're willing to buy ?
