Cant remember the name of a PC game!

Cant remember the name of a PC game where i think you are a woman detective searching for a little girl, it starts off on some weird house in the snow. I think its a dream. And the little girl shows you her room. Then you wake up and its like a futuristic world where you run around looking for clues as to where this little girl is. i know this is vague but thats all I can remember and its really bugging me help? xxx

Oh I dunno a few years ago in the 2000's definitely. Its not Still Life or Dark Fall but both those names feel like they should be right. Its so so so frustrating. Its also kind of futuristic. I think. x
