HardWare profiles? Two diffrent drivers for 5850

So I have a ATI(AMD) 5850 and I am stuck at 10.1 (drivers) because anything beyond that will cause my sof2 (old game I play) to crash out. I think its an openGL thing. I also play civ5 and BC2 and would like to take advantage of updating my drivers. Is it possible to set up two profiles for my system, one with 10.1 and the other updated? If so, what would be the simplest solution? Hardware profiles? And is any solution I implement going to require a reboot? (I am assuming so)

you could do a dual boot(7 and 7), that way have different H/W setups
