There is NO option to invert the mouse! Are there any .ini or .cfg files to edit to enable it? It seems like such a good game but I cannot play it without the mouse inverted. I've been plagued with this inverted mouse problem since doom2.

There's a very simple solution to this problem.

REPENT your inverted mouse ways! You've got to learn that UP=UP and DOWN=DOWN. The road may be difficult, young Jedi; But I have faith in you!

once you invert, you cant go back. its just so much more natural (wen flying)

i personally couldnt. it would feel too wierd

hold the mouse upside down....


only then your left and right would be inverted. which do you prefer??

Inverted mouse all the way!

I think there is an option, or maybe I'm wrong. I've never played the game myself, but I've seen my brother play it. He's even more hardcore about inverting than I am, and he never once complained about it

I'll ask him later tonight

Well, I was wrong. I was playing it for a few minutes and couldn't find anything.

But, to tell you the truth, the non-invertedness didn't really bother me, it felt pretty natural. But don't get me wrong, in most flight sims and fps games I MUST have it inverted

It's all good ^_^

I can understand wanting to have it inverted for flight sims, being that it's more natural to the way airplanes are really controlled. I dont understand the desire for FPS though. The last thing I want to be doing when playing an FPS is trying to figure out which way to move the mouse when I want to look up. =)

Freelancer isn't a FPS. I hate inverting the mouse no matter what. It makes no sense.

What can I say? I need to have my mouse inverted in all FPS. I just cant play any other way. Oddly enough, I can play Freelancer fine the way it is. :)
