Hello,
I have system with core 2 duo processor 2.00ghtz, 2gb ram and windows 7 os, is it possible to play gta4 in my pc. pls let me know.

Im sorry but you will not be able to play GTA 4. You might possibly play on all low and with the command line fix. Even with that you might get 10 fps. You need a dedicated card. If you are running on a budget, you can try the Nvidia GT 240. If you can spend $100 - $150, you can get the 4870.

you just asked if you rig could run this game....

to answer the posters question is no you have no chance of playing this game. it takes a decent dedicated gpu but and even stronger cpu. if you have 100-150 dollars to spend a 4870 is not you best card. an amd 6850 would be a much better gpu.
 

No, a quad core and a good GPU are required to play the game at high. At low, I'd say the C2D is enough but since its a slower 2.0 GHz processor, it would be a bit too lagging behind. So to answer your question, no you can't run it. Most modern day games requires a good graphics card ( GPU ) to run well. :)
