I'm buying a new system and was looking at the SiSs 735 chipset that Tom reviewed on June 6th, 2001. I'm waiting for boards to come out with this chipset. Anyone know when they'll be coming out? What do you think of this chipset?

I think the chipset looks interesting, Chaintech 7SID board is due out Q3 (according to the chaintach website on Sunday)Technically the Nvidia chipset looks more interesting though depends on price of both. My prediction is that the SiS boards will be pretty competitive and the Nvidia board will be way over priced, even if you factor in that it has good sound and graphics on board.

nforce will be unstable. SiS 735 is the real deal.
