What about the new T-birds?

I want to build me a new system (1,2Ghz T-bird on a Aopen AK73 Pro(A) or Asus A7V133 motherboard). But now I've heard the rumour that the upcoming new AMD's (T-birds) won't support 'ordinary' SDRAM, but only DDR-SDRAM. Is it true? If it is, I'll have to change my mind and build me a DDR-SDRAM-system instead of the SDRAM-system I was going to.
Please tell me the answer.

cpu's are not engineered to use one type of memory or the other. its the chipset on the motherboard that determines that......i would get a ddr motherboard anyway if i were you. but no, the new athlon chips wont care one way ore the other if you are running pc133 or pc2400. its your motherboard that will limit you.

ignore everything i say
