That'll tickle my fancy. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of these. It's the perfect programmable keyboard. Or so I hope.
Off note Tom's ads are quite annoying on AT&T's crappy excuse of a network

I love the idea! I can't help but wonder what typing would be like on a touchscreen. TXT on a touchscreen phone is one thing, but typing will take some getting used to.

I second the most annoying laptop in the world comment. good luck trying to type anything serious on a touchscreen, even if it is full size with force feedback, just a waste of time.

I wonder if the keyboard will minimize to a button for when you aren't using it. If so then that would be one kickass laptop, get a usb keyboard for it and have a dual touchscreen monitor.

I third the most annoying laptop in the world, and what sort of battery pack is thing going to need? 100% charge will probably last 20 minutes.

For anything of this nature to be of any use to anyone it NEEDS convincing software to run on top of it. How exactly is this going to be a game changer to anyone if nobody sits down and comes up with a brilliant way to do tasks better with dual touchscreens.

And people thought the unrealistic Courier was a good idea...Lets see what added software this thing runs.

Not sure if I'd buy it, but it seems to be far from being an actual product - Engadget noted that it was very sluggish.

Looks too big to be convenient. It'd just be annoying to not have a real keyboard on what looks like it should just be a regular laptop.

Looks nice... Although if I was to buy one then I'd probably buy a physical keyboard and mouse (which I guess defeats the point really) so I can touch type instead and use both displays as a dual monitor setup (assuming it allows that, ofcourse).

Considering MS have filled a patent for a dual screen with a joint in the middle, it might become quite expencive after the lawyers have basked in the upcoming lawsuit unless apple paid for licencing the tech wich i doubt!

Can't believe some ppl criticize companies for actually trying something different. Way to go Acer. Hope the rumor's are true and the device actually performs well. Constant innovation and ppl willing to take risks is what tech needs.

Awesome idea, probably going to be a costly one though against "normal" laptops. I would have to say though at times if the bottom could be a second desktop. Multi-selection of keyboard layout would be useful possibly.
