Does PIII 750-1000 go with my P2B 440BX mb

I got a P2B mb ,440BX chipset and looks like it could
handle a P3 processor... haven´t found any info yet ,maybe some of you guys know.
multiplier is up to 8x and bus 133mhz
133x8 = 1064... help

I did not know the P2B supported 133FSB. If it does, you can use any PIII you want, provided you upgrade the BIOS first. YOur cances of getting 8x133 to work are slim. 7x133 works fine with the 700, giving you 933. 7.5x133 works only occasionally with the 750, giving you 1GHz. Any further will require substantial voltage increases that could damage the CPU. I recommend the FC-PGA processor on an Abit Slotket III.
