I tracked his name down to give him credit. A little over a week ago elzt posted a thread in the others section talking about a ping-pong game.

This game is amazing guys! Truly. You have to try it out. Unbelievably authentic.

I actually purchased a 1-month subscription for $5.99 USD. There is an online ranking system as well as a ranking system for the 6 guys you can play in single player.

Just please do yourself a favor and try it out. You can play for free all you want against the same 3 guys. And you can even get a 3 hours free deal to try it out first.

If you in any way are interested in the game of ping-pong(real or virtual), you have to give this game a try.

This is a gamers forum and noone here likes ping pong games!? Come on. Anyone here like tennis games??? It's the same but faster and more fun.

Yea you do! The person you are playing. Ok, I know that's not what you meant. But if anybody remembers Table Tennis for the NES, they should check this out. It's a fun alternative to the everyday shoot'em up.

yea, they are pretty steep. I've got a 3.0c @ 4.7 with 4gb PC3500, and 2 9800 Pro's in SLI configuration. I get about 37fps. Just barely playable.

Remember SLI with the Voodoo cards? Funny stuff. I remember I wanted that so bad for Kingpin.

The best pong game ever is the one I wrote back in Grade 10 for my final project for comp sci class. :tongue: :wink:

Hehe, I wrote it in Turing which is similar to Basic and Pascal in syntax.

Last year, I did VB. This year (starting September) is mostly Java programming for me.

lol, I doubt you could write something as "complex" as Pong using punch cards. That would take forever, I would imagine, although I've NEVER tried programming using punch cards, lol.
