Ho do I connect a desktop's 3.5 IDE Hard Disk drive to my notebook. I have an IBM T42 Model - 23737VA .

After Connecting the BIOS should detect it.

Is there anything like removing my notebooks HDD and using some adapter to connect to the 3.5 IDE HDD.

Thanks.

There is an adapter called "External Enclosure" with USB2 or Firewire connection, that would help a lot.

By the way, what are you intended to do with it?

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

Your hint helped a lot ! I've so many friend that don't have LAN cards and they wanted their hard disks' backup using my cd writer.

Thanks again ! I'm gonna buy one of them.
