In response to one of my previous posts, someone responded that all Athlon motherboards have a "pc health monitoring" component to check on the cpu temp, fan speed, etc. Now this can not be true. Did he mean all the popular newer boards?
As far as I know, only a utility program that runs under Windows. Asus has a program called Asusprobe. MSI has one, but I can't remember what it's called.
now a days almost all motherboards have it, except those cheaper taiwanese ones. even some cheaper boards like Jetway have this PC health monitor though with some crude software interface. and some boards also have a health monitor that you need to get into BIOS to see, no windows utility to use that!
