Hello, I just brought BC2 off steam. I have it for 360 & PS3. I have allright PC build , But I still only get 15FPS on Ultra low! Around 3FPS when a massive explosion goes off.

Specs:

Intel i5 650 @3.2 Ghz
Radeon 5450
3GB DDR2 RAM

It's not a great PC , But it should be able to do Better than that.

Any Suggestions?

Radeon 5450 is a horrible card for gaming, its one of the cheapest card that no gamer should ever get, if not everyone. the performance is so horrible its probably better if you save the money and go with the built in graphics on either your CPU or MOBO.

summary: your GPU is SERIOUSLY bottlenecking your CPU power.

Dang! I didn't think it was that bad. I'm Building my own PC soon. Crossfire , Radeon 6950. That should get Good FPS?

Are you playing at 1024X768 and all on ultra low ? Yeah, HD 5450 isn't a card for gaming. But I've got a 8400GS, which is far worse than a Radeon 5450 and I was able to play the game at 10-15 FPS. Then with some tweaks to change the resolution, I turned it down to 640X480 and the game ran smooth ( about 20-35 FPS) but it did stutter at some parts ( especially during explosions ). You can try toning down the res if you want to play it badly on PC, but building another with HD 6950 X 2 would definitely be enough to play the game at 1080p with all settings on ultra high and the game will still run at maybe 50-60 FPS and above that.

Radeon 6950 will give you beastly FPS, but overated if you are considering upgrading. because better GPUs will come out for the same, if not lower price. but if you are not considering upgrading, 6950CF is the way to go!

Also I can play on Medium Now , When my PC Warms up , I can get up to 20-24FPS on medium now. While recording with Fraps. I Guess I need to warm up my PC before I play some Bc2.

About Q4 2011, not sure though. But it's going to be the Radeon HD 7000 series and the NVIDIA Geforce 600 series. If you're that desperate in building another rig ( cause you said next week ), then you may go for one. :)
