here is a link to the only site I could find it on
http://www.digirex.com/specs.cgi?tmp/f0612220734+MBCH7KJD+MB+components/mb/CH7KJD.htm+114.00

supposedly it performs better than the Asus A7M266 AND has multiplier adjustment. It also has 5.1 sound support built into it, which means support for 3 front speakers, 2 back speakers, and a sub woofer.
Besides the FSB adjustmentf and multiplier adjustment and sound card its the same as the A7M266, but I think it uses a different south bridge so it won't have the same problems the 686b has.
I think I'm gonna get one of these and try my luck with it, but I'm curious if anyone on these forums has one or has heard about them.

I have one of these MB's with a 1333mhz T/Bird, 512MB DDR Ram, GF3 etc etc

I also have an Abit KT7-RAID. I can highly recommend this board, I have no stability problems and no stupid 686B bugs as this one uses a 8231 SB.

And after all that it was the cheapest AMD 760 based chipset board I could find!

Ok no onboard RAID, I just bought a Chaintech IDE RAID PCI Card and it's still cheaper this way than an Asus A7M or A7A :)

Hey Rabs, I have been considering buying this board myself. could you post some memory benchs from sandra and also have you tried overclocking at all?

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing!

Hello again,

Some Sisoft Mem Bench's for you

Win 2K (1333mhz CPU, Crucial Cas 2.5 DDR)

571 MB's
722 MB's

I have quickly tried overclocking with no voltage increases and I got about 1466 out of this CPU.

With Cas 2 DDR and more tweaking I'm sure some very admirable scores could be achieved.

thats VERY reasurring. I have a chaintech board in the mail right now with some Micron CAS2 ram and a geforce 2 ultra, plus a 1.2 GHz CPU. I might overclock it, I might not.

BTW how is the onboard sound?

I've had a few CMedia sound chipped motherboards and they've all been fine.

However I'll still be getting a Soundblaster 5.1 card as the quality is superb. I'm just using the onboard until I can afford this card and speakers.

The good thing is that (hopefully) I'll have no problems due to the Southbridge being a 8231 not 686B :)
