Window 7 problems with internet

Hello,
after I installed Windows 7 and when I use the internet, every 5 minuts or so it freezes and goes to "not responding" mode. How can I solve this problem?

Have you tried running Internet Explorer with add-ons disabled?

Try going into:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

i don't know why people prefer IE over Firefox

they say IE9 is the real deal.
I'll wait for the service pack to come out...

Firefox and others are better than ie, But he should not have that problem with IE. There are some of us that stick with IE for work reasons. While other browsers may be better, Since I have NO issues with it, not about to switch. This one is above my paygrade, But howabout helping him out. If it is a specific proble with IE that would be fixed by switching so be it.
