When Bethesda released Morrowind they were on the brink of extinction (as
in bankrupt). That probably explains the lack of optimisation on the
engine and really rather huge bugs and CTDs.
This time they have money and time on their side. If it's not ready, I
don't think they'll release it this side of X-mas.
