No servers shown for BFBC2

Ok EA recently had a sale on Origin to get Bad Company 2 for PC for $5 so I got it. When I made my account and ETc and went to see available matches and listed servers none were shown not even EA Servers why is that? When I tried to make my own nothing happened I was alone for 20 minutes before I decided to quit.

make sure you run the updater as administrator. and set the same in the main exe. properties.
uncheck all the checkboxes on the server searchbar and click refresh

I figured tha out later today but when I try connecting to server bI get DCed while in the middle of playing.

^heh I figured that was the problem, I got it on the steam sale a few weeks ago and though it was unusual that it didn't automatically search for servers when you entered the multiplayer tab, most games do.
