WIll Might and Magic 7, 8, 9 run on newer computers?

I just ordered A box set with MM 6-9 and I have an HP laptop that is almost brand new, obviously running Windows 7. I also just dusted off my old HP Pavilion 7800 ( purchased in 2000 it has a 700mhz Intel Celeron processor, 20gig hd, 256mb ram, running Windows XP Professional). To my surprise the computer is still running very well even better now that I serviced it a bit. My specific question is: Will either of these computers be able to run MM? If both are able to run the games is there any reason they would run better on the older computer?

It does, i've been playing all those games on a brand new gaming rig with Win7 64bit.

If you have any trouble starting the game just "right click" on the game icon and run the game as administrator. That should do the trick.
