I have a Rioworks board with a Symbios scsi chip on it but when I attempt to load Win 2000 server on it, it doesn't seem to see the scsi chip and therefore can't find the hd. I had the same board that I had to RMA because the floppy controller was bad, but when it posted, it went into a scsi setup program which this one doesn't do. That one told me about my IBM HD and how big it was etc. This board doesn't have any idea it even has a scsi controller on it.
Could the bios just be corrupted and should I just reflash?
HELP!

Are you pressing F6 to load the driver for the SCSI controller during the install? I'm pretty sure 2K won't have that driver, you'll probably have to load it off a floppy that came with the mobo.

It's always the one thing you never suspected.
