I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional from a DVD and wound up with the boot files on my SSD and the system files on an HDD. If I disconnect the HDD, the SSD won't boot. Help! Please!

Disconnect the hdd and reinstall W7 on the ssd. Boot from the W7 disk, and choose custom install and quick format the ssd using the W7 disk tools.
