Ok, now that we have that over with...! this board will hang every time at the scsi card on a soft boot {or restart}. It will boot ok if i do a cold boot; ie shut it off for about 30 seconds. I know the card is good as I have tested it in my other system and it will reboot every time.
the problem is in the MB. I dont think it is clearing its registers on a soft boot. I have called ataptec...say it's the MB. Called DFI and they dont have a clue...said that they are going to investigate......any Ideas anyone?
I think I am just going to get an Aopen ak73 pro {A } Never had any problems with there boards. This is my first dfi board..performance and features are great but this problem is unacceptable!......help!!!!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record (or CD?), what type of power supply are you using with this power hungry monster?

the power supply is an Aopen 300 watt switching unit, my voltages all read fine
3.3 = 3.33
12 = 12.07
5 = 4.97

I'm wondering if 300 is too low for this monster? Have you tried it in minimum config (just RAM and video)?
