need setup advice with ep8k7a+ and RAID

I have not yet assembled my system as the processor has not yet arrived, so as I wait, I wanted to check on this question:

From checking around about the ep-8k7a+ in the manuals and on the highpoint website, it seems that their raid administrator is used in windows to set up raid arrays, but I am building a system from scratch so there will be no OS to begin with. So according to what I can gather from the website for highpoint I have to press ctrl+h when the highpoint logo appears to set up the stripped raid array, set up the bios to boot from the raid controller then run fdisk to partition it, load up the cd-rom drivers, and begin windows installation and update drivers. Anyone who has done this have any words of advice with setting up the raid 0 array?

Before on my old comp, I've reformated, installed windows, added cards etc with a machine from micron, so I'm fairly confidant with all but the RAID setup.
