Hi everyone. Here are my basic pc specs; Core 2 duo e7500, 3gb 800mhz ram, asus p5n-d, evga gts 450, 23inch 1920x1080 monitor. I know my pc is not the best but i am really looking foward to playing battlefield 3. I know my pc will be able to run it, but my question is how bad is it going to look of me in terms of graphics quality and fps. At the moment i play bad company 2 on all medium/high settings and it runs just fine. Thank you.

hey there I have the almost EXACT same setup except I have 8GB of RAM and an Intel i5-650 duo core at 3.2 GHz and a Intel extreme DP55KG motherboard. I am predicting you will be good for med. settings at best and when it gets dicey with all the grenades being thrown your Frame rate might drop to 15 or lower cause I just read that the FPS are clocked in at 30FPS with the PC's so realistically more like 10-15FPS when the Shitz hits the fan lol. here is my build:

i5-650 duo core 3.2GHz, 8GB Ram dual channel DDR3, Intel Extreme DP55KG board, Evga GTS 450 1GB, 24" Veiwscreen 1920x1080 monitor.

You will be fine. You will just have to turn several settings down a bit. But honestly don't worry about it. There are so many threads about this. Just wait for the game to come out.

The 30fps lock is for the PS3 version...google it...no fps lock has been put on the PC version....
