I'm building a 1.4 amd system w/ddr. I was wondering when to expect the motherboards implementing the SiS 735 to be out. Thanks a bunch!

I've read these were supposed to be out already (like last month), but no one has reported that they are actually being manufactured yet. My guess is that SIS may be have some trouble mass producing the chips. I've decied to go with the abit AG7, but still waiting for that one too... it looks like it'll be out first though.

There are 2 or 3 Sis 730 boards out. At pricewatch, select motherboards then sis 730. Others may follow in August.

Watch out!!! SiS 730 is NOT the same as SiS 735!!! It's much more cheaper and I don't think it support DDR and it's out since a while.

The ecs K7S5A is out and usess the SIS 735 chipset.

I just want to know when we're getting some benchmarks. And why are the boards so damn cheap? I've scratched the nforce off my list so I need to know if the Sis is going to stay.

they were supposed to be cheaper due to two things:
1) I can't remember.. but
2) the north and south bridge are combined saving money from making two ships.
damn.. wish i remembered the other.. i might sound more intelligent... all well.
