i have a 250 GB HDD drive on my machine now. with all my steam games, i pretty much fill it. I bought a nice 1.5 TB drive. id like to throw steam on there, and D/L my games again.
I should just have to move folder from drive to drive right? then maybe tell the shortcut where the .exe went?

anyone done this before? any issues i should know about? thx.

i know i could just reinstall, but 120+GB takes a while. id rather just copy. already got it figured out.
the original post was not that imformative after re-reading. i have like 250 GB of games, deleted well like 130GB of because i didnt play that often, and performance was slow.

i didnt want to re load all 250 GB of games. the inly issue i ran into was steam thought the new drive was a new machine, so i had to sign in with special code to access account.

now, i have mygames, music, movies on there, and still less than 50% "woot"
